Instead of just reading about AI, Bart started figuring out how to actually put it to work inside his own business. He experimented, connected tools, and automated the everyday tasks that used to eat up his time — follow-ups, admin, answering the same questions over and over.

The result completely changed how his business ran. Work that once took hours started happening in the background. Response times got faster, the busywork shrank, and he could focus on the things that actually moved the needle.

That's when it clicked: most businesses need exactly this kind of change, but AI feels intimidating to implement. There are too many tools, too much hype, and no clear starting point. Bart started Chromex to fix that — to take what he learned in his own business and make AI practical, approachable, and genuinely useful for other business owners, without the overwhelm.

Bart has used AI every day since ChatGPT launched in 2022, and has built nearly 100 AI tools and automations since, most of them for other businesses. That includes an AI product builder for a custom manufacturer, a Claude assistant that reconciles payments and tells a sales team what to do next, and a booking and route planning portal for a non-profit. He works with businesses across the GTA and Ontario.
